The number of competitors will be approx., 150, divided into the following categories: Regularity and Historic. The social aspect of such a large event has not been lost on us either! We have therefore chosen shorter rather than longer days of competition in order that competitors/teams will have the opportunity to relax together.

Regularity will start first followed by Historic Rally. Should anyone fail to finish a stage the opportunity to start the following leg will still be available, however a time penalty will be incurred.

Regularity – Midnight Sun Rally 2010

The first 2 classifications, allow you to compete with Regularity and rally cars, manufactured no later than 1981. Competitors are required to compete in all road section , including special stages, as in the Historic Rally. This type of competition places a great deal of responsibility upon the co. driver (navigator). It requires an average speed of 50 kmh be maintained throughout all special stages.

During each stage it is more important to maintain an even tempo rather than high speed. There will be secret time controls during each stage where every second, early or late, will be recorded with one mark per second.

Regularity - classes

Class 1:       Only the car’s original trip meter is allowed to be used

Class 2:       Extra trip meter may be used
